The idea of a company that focused specifically on the logistics associated with the import/exportation of fill and aggregates was conceived long before the formation of Dirt On Demand. Prior to Dirt On Demand, Daniel Bergin was a Professional Civil Engineer responsible for designing and constructing hundreds of projects throughout the State of Florida. During that time, Danny consistently witnessed the difficulties Owners, Developers, and Site Contractors faced with projects that involved the moving of large quantities of fill and aggregate. As these struggles became more evident and budgets grew tighter, Danny took a more hands on proactive approach with helping his clients find new and creative means to address this portion of the development process. The typical result was a “win-win” for the Owner/Developer and the Site Contractor in that the Client spending money spent less and the Contractor billing for the material made more. As this service grew, Clients began to ask about other projects they were working on that needed the same type of attention. Eventually the need became as such that Danny decided to create a company that dealt solely with solving these types of problems. He partnered with his wife, Vanessa, and their dining room table formed Dirt On Demand, a fill and aggregates logistics company with roots in Civil Engineering and penchant for coming up with unique solutions to earthwork problems.
